Following up on our Study and Go Abroad / SchoolFinder Fairs this past March 2024, we invited exhibitors who gave seminars at the events to hold a webinar. We had eight universities participate in seven webinars:

  • Logan University, USA
  • Bangor University, Wales
  • John Cabot University, Italy
  • Kyoto University of Advanced Science, Japan
  • SI-UK, North America
  • Study Law in the UK Panel; Bangor University, University of Birmingham, University of Exeter
  • Samuel Merritt University, USA

You will find further information on the webinars here:

The webinars were held between April 11th and May 28th. We provided marketing for the webinars (email, social, and event listings), the platform and support for the presenters — and in some cases one of our team members acted as host. In total, 430 students registered for the seven events for an average of 61 students per event. While 18% of the registrants attended, a healthy 76% opted-in to receive information from the webinar presenter.

The webinars ran for 45 to 90 minutes, and they occurred on either Tuesdays or Thursdays, at 5, 6 or 8 pm ET. Based on the results, Tuesdays at 6 pm ET might be considered the preferred day and time to hold a webinar — but of course this might vary with the target market time zone.

While in-person event seminars have their advantages, we see webinars as being an effective complement to seminars.

Based on the results, we will be offering webinars this fall. We’ll provide the marketing promotion, the webinar platform (Microsoft Teams), and a custom registration form. You decide on the date and time. We’ll provide support during the webinar, reporting after the webinar, and we’ll send you the opted-in student leads. Your presentation will be recorded and posted online.

The cost is $675 CAD ($500 USD) if you add it on to your exhibitor event registration.

We hope that helps!
