The CMA NXT Success Story
Building brand awareness through targeted marketing is essential for organizations looking to stand out in a crowded market.
Since 2019, our partnership with CMA NXT has helped them connect with students and young professionals, cultivating a strong brand identity throughout Canada. This collaboration has has resulted in thousands of sign ups year over year!
We’ve been working with the SchoolFinder Group for several years now to promote the CMA NXT platform to students across Canada. Utilizing a range of marketing tactics that include drip email marketing, a featured scholarship listing, and social media posts, we’ve been able to reach our target demographic and generate sign ups to our site year over year. So far in 2023, we are on track to exceed our 2022 sign-up numbers.
Specifically, there are three targeted marketing tactics we employed with CMA NXT:
Featured Scholarship
A featured scholarship listing means your award will display on the main page of ScholarshipsCanada.com.
In this case, CMA NXT operates a quarterly $250 giveaway for anyone who signs up to their site. We manage the giveaway and allocate a prize winner each quarter. This runs all 12 months throughout each year.
Drip Email Campaigns
A targeted email campaign means you can reach the exact type of student you’re looking for, based on a variety of parameters that include: age, location, program(s) of interest, citizenship, gender, and more.
For CMA NXT, we’ve targeted a variety of different demographics over the years, including grad students, young professionals, and students pursuing a marketing or business degree.

Students living in Canada, aged 21-24, with an interest in careers.

We sent a total of 4 emails weekly to this group between March to April 2023.
