Job Posting — Business Development Associate
The SchoolFinder Group is looking for a Business Development Associate to help bring new accounts onto the platform. The SchoolFinder Group platform includes some of Canada’s leading education websites; SchoolFinder.com, StudyinCanada.com, and ScholarshipsCanada.com. The sites are designed to help students find the right schools, scholarships and careers, and schools and other organizations find the right students.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will help colleges, universities, companies and other organizations with their marketing and student recruitment campaigns. The position involves pitching integrated digital solutions including targeted email marketing, lead generation, event marketing, social media and brand marketing services. You will be working with clients in Canada, the US, the UK, Australia, Ireland and the Caribbean. The job includes the following responsibilities and learning opportunities:
- New business development
- Using a CRM platform to manage prospect and client relationships
- Managing the sales funnel and sales forecasting
- Closing sales and meeting sales targets on a monthly basis
- Making sales presentations, online and in-person, often with senior management
- Writing sales and marketing proposals
- Identifying new product and market opportunities
- Attending educational conferences and trade fairs
- Travel when the world opens back up
- Assisting in the development of marketing collateral
Desired Background:
- Sales experience
- Business knowledge of online marketing solutions and related technologies, and social media
- Experience within the higher education market
- Ability to speak French (an asset)
